Spring Break

We headed back to Riverwalk RV Park to celebrate Spring Break and my birthday. We love Riverwalk because they treat everyone like family. The sites are large and level. We chose a pull through site (#16) this time and it worked out great. We site lock because I like the peace of mind knowing exactly where we will be. The drive from Clayton to Jonesville is really easy for us. It's approximately 2 1/2 hours and the roads are wide without any detours for low bridges. Here's us all set up and ready for some cornhole.

See what I mean when I say they treat you like family. They put out a special birthday sign for me (insert heart here)

Once we were all set up, we decided to head to Divine Llama Vineyards for some wine and a visit with their llamas.

This place is beautiful! It has rolling hills and a beautiful lake. You can even get a view of Pilot Mountain in the back.

I'm not going to lie, I was a little scared they would either bite me or pull my hair. I actually stayed pretty far away even though the pictures looked closer. I honestly didn't want to turn my back just in case :)

After Divine Llama, we headed to RagApple Lassie Vineyards just down the road.

Cheers to 41 years!! We tried the 15th Anniversary Eclipse Chardonnay, and it was wonderful.

The weather all weekend called for storms and we were so lucky to have the best weather. It was actually hot for me in the sweatshirt I was wearing.

The next morning we ate breakfast and then went out to explore a little. We like the town of Elkin, it's really laid back and has that small town feel.

BINGO on the beach!!!! So much fun!

Awe, look at that sweet face. Buddy loves watching people walk by.

No birthday is complete without a Publix chocolate ganache cake. This is my favorite cake and I enjoy it every.single.year!!

Well, that's all folks. Until next time...
